1912 Morocco 5 Mazunas Coin – Sultan Yusuf

1912 Morocco 5 Mazunas coin issued during the reign of Sultan Yusuf and dated 1330 AH in the Islamic Hijri calendar.

This historic bronze circulation coin features Arabic inscriptions within traditional geometric designs. One side displays the date and mint inscription within a decorative multi-lobed star, while the reverse shows the denomination within a large five-pointed star.

The 5 Mazunas denomination formed part of Morocco’s Rial currency system during the early 20th century. The standard issue is catalogued as Y#28 and was struck in bronze, with an official weight of approximately 5 g and diameter of 25 mm.
